NEW YORK DAILY NEWS – One Iowa man thought it was peanut butter and jelly time. His brother didn’t agree.
Jerome Davis of Des Moines was arrested Friday after he allegedly pulled a knife on his brother, who had confronted him about his sandwich eating spree, the Des Moines Register reported.
The two men are both in their 50s.
According to the police report, the unnamed victim told officials that Davis “made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room. Within the next hour, the suspect made another 3 of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bringing his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six.”
Yes. A man was arrested due to a fight over PB&J sandwhiches. Take a look at that last paragraph. 6 PB&Js within an hour. I don’t care who you are, that’s a lot. I eat 2 if I have them for lunch and then I’m good. The report doesn’t say how much Peanut Butter, Jelly, or bread was in the house though. For all we know there was only enough for a few sandwiches and this guy goes and eats it all leaving none for his brother. If this brother was a PB&J connoisseur, he may have been ticked off to the point of physical violence. The report says he whipped out a folding knife. My bet is this guy uses this knife to spread his peanut butter and jelly.
Of course this was going to make it in this blog.
