Lester Can’t Throw To First

It always surprises me that people who get paid millions of dollars to throw a pall to home plate can’t turn 90 degrees and throw the ball that way.

Pitchers must have the most errors on throws to first, whether it is fielding a ball in play or a throw over.

Luckily for Lester, on this play they got the runner out, so I guess it worked out after all?

Anyway, check out this stat. It was 66 games between throws to first from Lester. 66 GAMES!

We never saw this with Lester on the Sox, so I blame the Cubs.
