If you watch ESPN at all, you have seen this commercial for the NCAA Tournament Challenge. It is actually the same commercial from last year, and last year I heard it and recognized the song. I thought “This sounds like something from Beetlejuice”. Well, this year, I did my research after hearing it, and guess what, is is from Beetlejuice!
The track is Travel Music.
I feel better now knowing this.
That is all.
Man, this was some pretty good stuff. I had faith in Drake since he was pretty good on SNL and, like Timberlake, another successful ESPY host, has both the acting and musical talents to be a good host.
Blake Griffin also has a great ablitiy to be funny. All those commercials he’s in are most of the time pretty funny, and it’s him that makes it funny.
This skit with both of them was overall funny and hilarious in parts.
Best part hands down was Drake as Blake talking to Bill Simmons about Blake Griffin’s complexion.
“I kinda look like a black guy that jumped into a pit of Cheetos and just laid there for like 10 days and then popped up”
Line of the night, by far.
Also, Blake as Drake rapping was a total SNL Blizzard Man situation.
Overall, the ESPYs were pretty good. Stuart Scott had a great speech while accepting the Jimmy V Award.
Boston Ball! Boston Ball baby!
Yeah, that’s right, BC just took down the undefeated Syracuse in ‘Cuse in OT.
Syracuse’s throwback uni’s couldn’t help them tonight.
No biggie, just had a 1% chance to win.
Holy moly that was a hell of a game. I’m not even the biggest college football fan, but this game had everything. Blowouts, comebacks, kick returns, Heisman winners winning, late game lead changes.
I had Auburn and it looked good early (I also had the Chiefs and look how that turned out)
And my feeling turned out to be true. What a game. I thought it would be impossible to top all the great football from the NFL this weeked, but this BCS National Championship game might have done it. A great send off for the BCS.
Here we are, the BCS National Championship Game. FSU vs Auburn.
Throughout the Bowl season, both myself and Nando have sucked at picking bowls. We’ve each gotten only 14 out of the 34 bowl picks correct.
BUT, I picked Auburn and he picked FSU. So one of us will get 15 out of 34 and creep up from the 70,091 ranking.
Since I picked Auburn, I might as well give a score. I’ll say 33-28.
