The Gordon Hayward Injury

Wow. Unbelieveable. I’m still having a hard time processing the whole thing. I didn’t see it like. I was actually watching the Yankees game when Aaron Judge was at bat. I came back into my room and saw everyone at the game standing around and heard Reggie Miller comment on the murmuring in the building. I was like “What is going on?”.

So I did the 15 second rewind that Xfinity has, and kept going back and back and then I saw Hayward on the ground. Then I went back once more and saw the play and heard Marv Albert exclaim “Gordon Hayward broke his leg”. And as I was processing what he just said the camera cut to that shot and I was like OMG!

The NBA’s Case of Tighty Whities

As many of you know, Nike is the new uniform supplier for the NBA, taking over for Adidas. New with Nike’s takeover is the use of the maker’s mark on the jerseys themselves.

Previously, with Adidas, Reebok, and other manufacturers, the league kept the logos off the uniforms, allowing only the team and league logos to be present. It was the only league that was like this, but now, they too are like the other major sports.

You may not be aware, but there is a well documented account of rapper and actor Will Smith being involved in a car accident with an old lady. You can watch the video below to listen to Will’s account of the incident.

This is a very interesting case. Based on the evidence presented, it seems like Mr. Smith is not at fault, but everything seemed to be going against him.

All the old school costumes and ships but made today with superior technology. In the car world, that’s called a resto-mod. Classic looks, modern mechanics.

If you don’t know, this movie takes place right before Episode IV: A New Hope. It is the story of the rebels who stole the Death Star plans that Princess Leia eventually  gives to R2D2 and sets that whole series of events in motion.

Donnie is Back. Not In China, But at a Ted Cruz Rally. Or Is That Kevin Malone?

Gotta love Donnie. When he’s not supporting the Sharks or teaching kids English or sneaking into the ring at a Pacquiao fight, he’s trolling politicians. BTW, I don’t know how people go to those rallys. I don’t care who the candidate is. I could never do that, unless, you know, you make some fun out of it like Donnie. I don’t have the balls to do that though.

All Donnie wanted to do was find out for sure if Ted Cruz is Kevin Malone from The Office. Simple question. And yet, it still goes unanswered.
